Short Lhasa Tour itinerary
Day 01: Fly from kathmandu to Lhasa.
In the morning you will fly about 1 hour with amazing panoramic view of Himalayas then arrived to Tibet airport at the height of 3650 meter. Then from airport again about 1 hour drive to Lhasa and rest in hotel. Lhasa means the place of the god. The residence of the Dalai Lama.
Day 02: After breakfast start full day sightseeing and visit Potala Palace and Norbulingka. Potala palace was the winter palace of the Dalai Lama from 1649 to 1959. But nowadays it is a Museum. Norbulingka ia the jeweled park with the area 360000 square meter.
Day 03: After breakfast start full day sightseeing to visit Sera Monastery. About 5000 monks lived here. Then visit Jokhang Monastery. Jokhang Monastery is the most precious and important temple in Tibet. First it was built at 652 and renovated many times. Another attraction is Barkhor market which is very important in religious and social view.
Day 04: After breakfast visit Tibetan Medical institute and free for the whole day.
Day 05: Fly from Lhasa from Kathmandu and fly to onward destination.
