Proper acclimatization helps reduce the risk of altitude sickness and makes the trek safer and more comfortable.
2.How slowly does the group gain altitude?
Our trekking itinerary is designed to gain altitude gradually, with appropriate rest and acclimatization days at higher elevations. We avoid gaining too much sleeping altitude in a single day and allow trekkers to walk at a comfortable pace. The exact rate depends on the trekking route, weather, and the condition of the group.
3.What symptoms should tourists watch for?
Trekkers should pay attention to symptoms such as:

5.What happens if someone cannot continue?
Your safety comes first. If a trekker becomes seriously affected by altitude sickness or another health problem and cannot continue, the guide will arrange the safest possible solution. This may include descending to a lower altitude, arranging assistance or evacuation when necessary, and coordinating with the trekking team and emergency services. Depending on the situation, additional evacuation or medical costs may apply.
6.How does the guide monitor the group?
Our guide regularly checks the condition of trekkers throughout the journey. The guide observes walking pace, breathing, energy levels, appetite, sleep, and any signs of altitude sickness. During acclimatization days, the group may take short hikes to a higher elevation before returning to sleep at a lower altitude. Every trekker is encouraged to communicate openly with the guide about how they are feeling.

The best seasons for the Everest Luxury Trek are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these seasons, the weather is generally stable, the skies are clearer, and mountain views are excellent.
In spring, the hills are beautifully decorated with blooming rhododendrons. Autumn offers pleasant trekking conditions and is also a great time to experience Nepal’s festivals and local culture.

Yes. You can add extra acclimatization days to the itinerary. Additional time at suitable elevations can help your body adjust to the altitude more comfortably. Extra days will involve an additional charge.
11.Is the helicopter return included in the price?

12.How much luggage can I take?
You can take up to 15 kg of luggage, which will be carried by your porter. If you need to bring more than 15 kg, an additional porter can be arranged at an extra cost.
What happens if the Lukla flight is delayed or cancelled?
If your flight to or from Lukla is delayed or cancelled because of weather or other operational reasons, we will help arrange the next available flight.
If you prefer to travel by helicopter, we can arrange a helicopter flight at an additional cost. If you use a helicopter instead of the scheduled Kathmandu–Lukla flight, we will refund the applicable scheduled flight cost, subject to the airline’s refund conditions. The additional helicopter cost is your responsibility.
Emergency and Contingency Information:
Bad Weather
If bad weather is expected, we monitor the weather forecast and assess the situation carefully. If the weather is likely to improve soon, we may wait for safer conditions before continuing the trek.
If bad weather is expected to continue for several days and makes the planned trek unsafe, we can change or cancel the original trekking route and arrange another suitable destination where conditions are better. Nepal offers many beautiful trekking routes, so we can provide alternative options depending on the weather and safety conditions.
If bad weather occurs while you are already trekking, we may stop at the current destination and wait until conditions improve. We will continue the trek only when it is safe to do so.
Flight Cancellation or Delay
If your flight to Lukla is cancelled or delayed because of weather or other operational problems, we will arrange the next available flight.
If the delay causes you to lose trekking days, we can discuss extending the itinerary where possible so you can complete the planned trek.
If you prefer to avoid waiting, we can also arrange a helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, subject to availability and weather conditions. The additional helicopter cost is paid by the guest. We will deduct the cost of the unused regular flight ticket from the package cost and refund that amount to you.
Illness
If you become ill before the trek starts, you may be able to postpone your trip and arrange a new travel date, depending on the circumstances.
If you become seriously ill during the trek, your safety is our first priority. We will arrange appropriate medical assistance and, if necessary, organize a helicopter evacuation to Kathmandu for hospital treatment.
The cost of the helicopter evacuation and hospital treatment is the responsibility of the guest or their travel insurance company.
Altitude Problems
Altitude sickness can occur when trekking at high elevations. Our guides monitor trekkers throughout the journey for signs and symptoms of altitude-related problems.
If a guest shows symptoms of altitude sickness, we will stop the ascent and allow them to rest. We will not take them to a higher elevation until their condition is safe.
We will advise them to drink plenty of fluids and provide oxygen if necessary. If medical treatment is required, we will arrange transportation to the nearest appropriate medical facility or hospital.
If the doctor recommends descending to a lower altitude, stopping the trek, or taking another course of action, we will follow the doctor’s advice. Medical and hospital expenses are paid by the guest or their travel insurance company.
Emergency Evacuation
If a serious emergency occurs during the trek, our guide will immediately assess the situation and take the necessary safety measures. Depending on the severity of the emergency, we can arrange evacuation by helicopter to Kathmandu or to the nearest suitable medical facility.
We will coordinate with the helicopter operator, local authorities, medical facilities, and other relevant agencies to make the evacuation as quickly and safely as possible.
The cost of emergency helicopter evacuation and medical treatment is normally the responsibility of the guest or their travel insurance company. We strongly recommend that all trekkers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking and emergency helicopter evacuation.
Changes to the Itinerary
We can adjust the itinerary when necessary or when requested by guests, depending on safety, weather, transportation, accommodation, and other local conditions.
The number of trekking days can be increased or reduced where practical. If conditions require a change to the original itinerary, our team will discuss the available options with you and help arrange the safest and most suitable alternative.
Helicopter Availability
We have established working relationships with helicopter operators in Nepal and regularly arrange helicopter services for our trekking guests.
When a helicopter is required, we will contact the operator and arrange the service as quickly as possible, subject to helicopter availability, weather conditions, and flight permissions.
Road or Flight Disruptions
If roads or flights are disrupted because of bad weather, natural events, technical problems, or other unexpected circumstances, we will monitor the situation and wait for conditions to become safe.
Where necessary, we will coordinate with local authorities, transportation providers, and other relevant agencies to find the safest available solution and help you reach your destination.
Your safety is always our first priority. We will adjust the travel arrangements when necessary to ensure that you can continue your journey as safely and comfortably as possible.
Luxury Helicopter Return from Everest Base Camp to Kathmandu

After completing your Everest Base Camp adventure, there is no need to spend several additional days trekking back down to Lukla. Your return to Kathmandu is arranged by helicopter, allowing you to relax and enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas.
Shared Helicopter – No Extra Cost if Flying Alone
The helicopter transfer is arranged on a sharing basis, which means we normally share the flight with other trekkers traveling on the same route.
However, your comfort and return to Kathmandu are our priority. If we are unable to find another passenger to share the helicopter with you, we will still arrange your helicopter flight to Kathmandu at the same agreed price.
You do not have to pay any additional cost if no other passenger is available. There is no surprise charge or compulsory upgrade fee simply because you are traveling alone on the helicopter.
How the Flight Works
After breakfast at Gorak Shep, your guide will coordinate the helicopter pickup from the appropriate helipad. The exact pickup time depends on the weather, flight schedule, and helicopter availability.
The helicopter then takes you down through the spectacular Khumbu Valley. During the flight, you can enjoy magnificent views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, the Khumbu Glacier, Namche Bazaar, and the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Depending on operational requirements, the helicopter may make a short stop at Lukla, particularly for refueling or other flight arrangements, before continuing to Kathmandu.
Approximate Flight Time
The helicopter journey from the Everest region to Kathmandu generally takes around 1.5–2 hours, depending on the pickup location, weather, air traffic, routing, and whether a technical stop at Lukla is required.
This means you can leave the high Himalayas in the morning and reach Kathmandu much faster than returning on foot.

Complete the online Tourist Visa application using the official Nepal immigration website.

Step 3: Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 1 :
Some of our office representative will pick you up from international airport and transfer to Hotel. (1,400 meters or 4,600 feet.)
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met and transferred by a representative of Nepal Mt. Lover into one of the fine hotels in the city, where you can relax in luxury along with beautiful surroundings after your journey.

Day 2 :
Rest Day in Hotel.
A leisure day would be there for the rest before walking; or you may spend the time, optional by request, to explore cultural landmarks. This day will also be used for short briefing about the trek and for preparing the stuff needed during the Everest Luxury Trek.

Day 3 :
About 35 to 40 minutes fly to Lukla (2,886 meters) then 5 hours trek to Phakding (2,610 meters or 8,563 feet)
Our journey of the Everest Luxury Trek begins after flying from Kathmandu, to Lukla is an adventure in itself. After a scenic flight of around 40 minutes, you will reach Lukla, the entry point to Everest Region. After arriving in Lukla, you can visit the charming little village, visit some local shops, and start your 5 hours trek to Phakding stay overnight at a luxury lodge with views of the magnificent mountains.
The fourth day introduces you with the first trekking of the package. Starting with a descent trek through lush surroundings into Sherpa villages before crossing the Dudh Koshi River over the suspension bridge into Phakding, offers a magnificent view of nature. Stay in a comforting lodge with modern amenities.

Day 4 :
About 5 hours trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters or 11,286 feet )
This day presents a relatively gradual ascent through green forests of Dharma and rhododendron heading towards Namche Bazaar. The route is not particularly difficult but offers mesmerizing views of Everest and Lhotse which makes the Everest Luxury Trek memorable. Stay overnight in the luxury lodge, where excellent service makes for unbeatable views.

Day 5 :
Acclimatization Day and Visit Khumjung Village (3,790 meters or 12,434 feet )
Spend the day acclimatizing at Namche as the higher altitude can cause different health problems. Visit the acclaimed Khumjung Village and its monastery, then you can have some refreshments at the Everest View Hotel, with stunning views of Everest from its terrace. Return to Namche for an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6 :
About 6 hours Trek to Tengboche (3,867 meters or 12,687 feet )
On the seventh day of Everest Luxury Trek , you would follow your trek through rhododendron forests, offering beautiful views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. After arriving at Tengboche, you can visit the famous monastery there, to feel the peaceful environment. Stay overnight at a deluxe lodge with behind-end mountain views.

Day 7 :
About 5 hours Trek to Dingboche ( 4,410 meters or 14,470 feet )
You will observe daily rituals of praying in Tengboche Monastery in the morning and come back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast about 5 hours trek to Dingboche. On the way you will observe close view of Ama dablum himal including Lhotse,Mt.Everest and Iceland peak.

Day 8 :
About 5 hours trek to Lobuche ( 4,940 meters or 16,210 feet )
After breakfast, you will begin your trek to Lobuche, which takes approximately 5 hours. As you walk through the beautiful Himalayan landscape, you will see impressive moraine formations and rocky debris carried down from the surrounding glaciers.
After crossing Thukla (Dugla) and climbing the steep section, you will reach the Thukla Pass memorial area. Here, you will see hundreds of memorials dedicated to Sherpas, climbers, and other mountaineers who lost their lives during expeditions in the Everest region.
The memorial area is decorated with colorful Tibetan prayer flags, stone cairns, and small stupas, many of which were built by the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the mountains. It is a peaceful and deeply moving place, offering a moment to reflect on the courage and sacrifices of the people who have climbed these mountains.
After spending some time at the memorials, you will continue trekking for about one more hour before reaching Lobuche, where you will check into your teahouse and rest for the evening.

Day 9 :
About 3 hours trek to Gorakshep ( 5,164 meters or 16,942 feet )
Gorakshep is the last overnight stop of this part of your trek. After arriving in Gorakshep, you will take a short break of about 30 minutes to enjoy some tea and rest. Then, you will continue your trek toward Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)—one of the most exciting and memorable destinations for travelers who dream of standing at the foot of Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
Today, your dream of reaching Everest Base Camp will come true! Once you arrive, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the incredible surroundings, take photographs, and celebrate this special achievement. After spending some memorable moments at the base camp, you will retrace your trail and return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.

Day 10 :
In the morning, hike up to Kalapatthar (5,545 meters or 18,192 feet) for about 45 minutes to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Everest. Then return to the hotel for breakfast before flying back to Kathmandu.
In the early morning, you will hike for about 45 minutes to Kalapatthar, one of the best viewpoints for spectacular views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks. If you reach the viewpoint early, you may enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over the mountains—an unforgettable experience that is difficult to put into words.
After enjoying the magnificent views and taking photographs, you will walk back down to Gorakshep and have breakfast at the hotel. This will be your final meal of the trek. After some time to relax, you will take a helicopter flight back to Kathmandu, bringing your unforgettable Everest adventure to an end.

Free Day in Kathmandu
Spend a free day either on exploring this vibrant city or on indulging in relaxation. There are optional guided tours to various UNESCO World Heritage Sites and markets close by.

Important Information Before Your Trip to Nepal
Payment: Down payment: 20% of total payment is required to confirm the reservation.
Payment of the Balance: Rest amount can be paid in our office after your arrival.
Arrival Point: You will be met at the Kathmandu international airport. Our office representative will be waiting for you holding play card of the Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition. In case of your change plan, please let us inform.
Booking Air Ticket: If you don’t have regular travel agent, please visit makemytrip.com, www.kayak.com, www.vayama.com. They offer you very good price.
Room System: Normally we have two people in a room. Twin bed or single bed depends on the choice of guests and budget. If tourists want single room, s/he should pay single supplementary.
Trekking Leading Person: Our trekking guide will lead the whole trip with his/her helpers and porters.
Currencies: USD, AUD, EURO are major acceptable currencies in Nepal and visa and credit cards also accepted. There is ATM facility in city area.
Altitude Sickness: Altitude sickness will start from 3000 meter height. Trekkers should immediately inform trekking guide if faced any problems.
Drinking Water: We can get mineral water and boiled water in city area and in some trekking places. We use water purification tablet or liquid in some remote trekking sites.
Laundry Facility: Laundry facility are available in city area but not during the trekking.
Visa: You can get arrival visa at Kathmandu airport that cost 30 USD for 15 days and 50 USD for 30 days and 125 USD for 90 days. Please bring 2 passport size photos. You can get your visa from the closest Nepali embassy.
Orientation Program: Before starting trekking, trekkers are provided with an orientation by our office representative or trekking guide about the necessary trekking information.
Group Size: There will be maximum 12 persons in one group.
Accommodation: You will stay in a nice tourist standard hotel/resort in city areas. Normal hotels or tents are available during the trekking.
Foods: We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner. Tourists can get continental food both in city and trekking places. Food during the trekking might not meet the standard of your country.
View of Mount Everest: Trekkers to Everest region will of course see the Mount Everest. For trekkers visiting other regions where they cannot view Mount Everest, there are daily mountain flights which approach close to Mount Everest.
Travel Insurance: It is compulsory to have travel insurance.
Personal Expenses: It depends on your spending interest and shopping. There are some expensive handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelries and handicrafts to purchase in Nepal.
Luggage: We take only about 15 kg per person in trekking. Your excess baggage will be stored in a hotel.
Tips: Tips are highly accepted and appreciated.
Rules and Regulation
Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.
1. If the balance payment is not paid before your departure for trekking, the booking will be cancelled without any refund.
2. If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces emergency situation before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come Nepal and refund your payment. But in case of any emergency situation or war after your arrival or during the trekking, we will not refund your money. But we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.
3. In case of increase in government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee, you have to pay extra money.
4. If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask to leave the group without any right to refund.
5. If you have any complain with regards to trekking and tour please inform our tour leader or company. All kinds of valid complain are welcomed and processed with necessary actions.
6.You are responsible to ensure that all travel documents are with you during the entire trip.
