Everest High Three Passes Trek
Everest High Three Passes trekking is recognized as one of the best trekking in Nepal. It’s an adventure and challenging trek in the Everest region with many nice short and long trekking trails.This trekking provides an opportunity for great views of varied landscapes, high-altitude villages, and stunning mountain vistas. It includes a visit to the Everest Base Camp, passes such as Khangmala Pass, Cho La Pass, and Renjo La Pass, and an excellent view of Gokyo Peak. The main theme for acclimatization during the trek, Everest High Three Pass Trek offers fantastic panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and many others. The trek finally concludes with a return to Kathmandu to rest and recollect the unforgettable journey right through the heart of the Himalayas.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival in Kathmandu
You will arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, where our office representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and prepare for the upcoming Everest High Three Pass trek.

Day 2 :
Briefing and Trekking Preparation
After breakfast, you will receive a detailed briefing about the Everest High Three Pass Trek. Your guide will explain the itinerary and trekking gear requirements to ensure you’re fully prepared for the trek ahead. If you wish, you can take a half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, visiting some of its renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Pashupatinath. The rest of the day will be free to rest and prepare for the Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Day 3 :
Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
You will take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m), a scenic 30-minute flight over the mountains. Upon arrival, you will begin your trek toward Phakding (2,800m), a short and relatively easy walk through small villages and beautiful forested areas. This trek will take approximately 3-4 hours, allowing you to adjust to the altitude. You will stay overnight in Phakding.

Day 4 :
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
From Phakding, you will trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), the gateway to the Everest region and Everest High Three Pass Trek. The trek is a bit more challenging, involving several uphill sections as you gain altitude. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River before making a steep ascent through pine forests. Expect the trek to take about 5-6 hours. Namche Bazaar is a bustling market town with stunning views of the surrounding peaks, making it the perfect place to rest and acclimatize.

Day 5 :
Trek to Syangboche, Acclimatization Day
After breakfast, you will take a short trek from Namche Bazaar to Syangboche (3,780m), where you can visit the Everest View Hotel for a breathtaking view of Mount Everest and other surrounding peaks. This trek is a good opportunity to acclimatize while enjoying the scenic beauty of the area. After a short break and some refreshments, you will return to Namche Bazaar for the night, completing a 5-hour round-trip trek which concludes the fifth day of Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Day 6 :
Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)
Today, you will trek to Tengboche (3,860m), a scenic village known for its famous Tengboche Monastery. The Everest High Three Pass Trek follows a ridge with stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. It will take approximately 5-6 hours, and you’ll be able to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at Tengboche before continuing.

Day 7 :
Trek to Dingboche (4,350m)
From Tengboche, you will continue your trek to Dingboche (4,350m), a picturesque village that offers great views of the surrounding peaks. This trek will take about 5-6 hours, passing through beautiful forests, and crossing the Imja Khola River. Dingboche is a great place to rest and adjust to the higher altitudes during the Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Day 8 :
Acclimatization Day at Ama Dablam Base Camp
Today, you will take a day trip to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,570m) for acclimatization. The Everest High Three Pass Trek takes you through beautiful terrain with incredible views of the towering Ama Dablam peak. After spending some time at the base camp, you will return to Dingboche, completing a 6-7 hour round trip.

Day 9 :
Trek to Chhukung (4,743m)
You will trek to Chhukung (4,743m) today, a small village located in the Imja Valley. The trek is relatively short and will take about 3-4 hours, giving you the opportunity to acclimatize further. You will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, including Lhotse and Island Peak.

Day 10 :
Trek to Khangmala Base Camp (5,000m)
From Chhukung, you will trek to Khangmala Base Camp (5,000m), taking about 4-5 hours. This section of the Everest High Three Pass Trek will take you through challenging terrain, and you will be rewarded with amazing views of the mountains and surrounding landscape.

Day 11 :
Trek over Khangmala Pass (5,535m) to Lobuche (4,930m)
Today, you will cross the Khangmala Pass (5,535m), one of the highest points of the Everest High Three Pass Trek. After crossing the pass, you will descend to Lobuche (4,930m). The trek is long and challenging, taking about 7-8 hours. Lobuche is a small settlement located at the base of the Khumbu Glacier, providing an excellent resting spot before the final push toward Everest Base Camp.

Day 12 :
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and back to Gorekshep (5,170m)
You will trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) today, an unforgettable experience. After reaching the base camp and taking in the views of the massive Everest and surrounding peaks, you will return to Gorak Shep (5,170m) for an overnight stay. The trek will take about 7-8 hours, ending the 12th day of the Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Day 13 :
Trek to Kalapattar (5,545m) & trek back to Dzongla
In the morning, you will trek to Kalapattar (5,545m) for a stunning panoramic view of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. After spending some time at the summit, you will descend and return to Dzongla, where you will spend the night. The trek will take approximately 7-8 hours.

Day 14 :
Trek over Chola Pass (5,420m) trek to Dragnag
Today, you will cross the famous Cho La Pass (5,420m), one of the highest and most challenging passes of the Everest High Three Pass Trek. After crossing the pass, you will descend to Dragnag for an overnight stay. This trek will take about 7-8 hours.

Day 15 :
Trek to Gokyo (4,750m)
You will trek to Gokyo (4,750m) today, a stunning village located near Gokyo Lakes. The trek takes about 5-6 hours and offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and turquoise lakes.

Day 16 :
Trek to Gokyo Peak and Back to Gokyo
This morning, you will trek to the summit of Gokyo Peak (5,357m), where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and other peaks. After taking in the views, you will return to Gokyo for the night. The trek will take approximately 6-7 hours.

Day 17 :
Trek over Renjo La Pass (5,338m) & trek to Arye
Today, you will cross Renjo La Pass (5,338m), one of the highest passes on the trek. After crossing the pass, you will descend to Arye, a small village where you will stay overnight. This trek will take about 7-8 hours.

Day 18 :
Trek to Glacier
You will trek to the glacier today, where you will enjoy the stunning views of icefalls, glaciers, and towering peaks. This part of the Everest High Three Pass Trek will take approximately 5-6 hours.

Day 19 :
Trek to Thame (3,800m)
Today’s trek takes you to Thame (3,800m), a small Sherpa village. The trek is relatively easy, taking about 5-6 hours, and provides a good opportunity to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Day 20 :
Trek to Monjo (2,840m)
From Thame, you will trek to Monjo (2,840m), passing through several small villages and lush forests. The trek will take about 5-6 hours, and you will rest for the night in Monjo during the Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Day 21 :
Trek to Lukla
The final day of the Everest High Three Pass Trek will take you from Monjo to Lukla (2,840m). The trek is relatively easy and will take about 3-4 hours, allowing you time to reflect on your amazing journey.

Day 22 :
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. Rest/free day
You will fly from Lukla back to Kathmandu today. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a rest and free day to relax after the trek, which ends the Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Day 23 :
Sightseeing and Farewell Dinner
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley with our guide. You will visit more UNESCO World Heritage Sites and have some free time for shopping. In the evening, you will be treated to a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, where you can enjoy Nepali music and dance.

Day 24 :
Departure
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for your flight back to your home destination where you can take the beautiful memories of Everest High Three Pass Trek.

Important Information Before Your Trip to Nepal
Payment: Down payment: 15% of total payment is required to confirm the reservation.
Payment of the Balance: Rest amount can be paid in our office after your arrival.
Arrival Point: You will be met at the Kathmandu international airport. Our office representative will be waiting for you holding play card of the Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition. In case of your change plan, please let us inform.
Booking Air Ticket: If you don’t have regular travel agent, please visit makemytrip.com, www.kayak.com, www.vayama.com. They offer you very good price.
Room System: Normally we have two people in a room. Twin bed or single bed depends on the choice of guests and budget. If tourists want single room, s/he should pay single supplementary.
Trekking Leading Person: Our trekking guide will lead the whole trip with his/her helpers and porters.
Currencies: USD, AUD, EURO are major acceptable currencies in Nepal and visa and credit cards also accepted. There is ATM facility in city area.
Altitude Sickness: Altitude sickness will start from 3000 meter height. Trekkers should immediately inform trekking guide if faced any problems.
Drinking Water: We can get mineral water and boiled water in city area and in some trekking places. We use water purification tablet or liquid in some remote trekking sites.
Laundry Facility: Laundry facility are available in city area but not during the trekking.
Visa: You can get arrival visa at Kathmandu airport that cost 25 USD for 15 days and 40 USD for 30 days. Please bring 2 passport size photos. You can get your visa from the closest Nepali embassy.
Orientation Program: Before starting trekking, trekkers are provided with an orientation by our office representative or trekking guide about the necessary trekking information.
Group Size: There will be maximum 12 persons in one group.
Accommodation: You will stay in a nice tourist standard hotel/resort in city areas. Normal hotels or tents are available during the trekking.
Foods: We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner. Tourists can get continental food both in city and trekking places. Food during the trekking might not meet the standard of your country.
View of Mount Everest: Trekkers to Everest region will of course see the Mount Everest. For trekkers visiting other regions where they cannot view Mount Everest, there are daily mountain flights which approach close to Mount Everest.
Travel Insurance: It is compulsory to have travel insurance.
Personal Expenses: It depends on your spending interest and shopping. There are some expensive handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelries and handicrafts to purchase in Nepal.
Luggage: We take only about 10kg per person in trekking. Your excess baggage will be stored in a hotel.
Tips: Tips are highly accepted and appreciated.
Rules and Regulation
Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.
1. If the balance payment is not paid before your departure for trekking, the booking will be cancelled without any refund.
2. If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces emergency situation before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come Nepal and refund your payment. But in case of any emergency situation or war after your arrival or during the trekking, we will not refund your money. But we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.
3. In case of increase in government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee, you have to pay extra money.
4. If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask to leave the group without any right to refund.
5. If you have any complain with regards to trekking and tour please inform our tour leader or company. All kinds of valid complain are welcomed and processed with necessary actions.
6.You are responsible to ensure that all travel documents are with you during the entire trip.
