Overview
Nar-phu valley trekking is a perfect adventurous trekking trail in Annapurna region trek which reminds the medieval foot trails to walk people from one place to another place and their villages. This is the evidence the community life of the medieval period. This trek route was opened only in2002. The main profession of the people is yak herding and agriculture. The village is protected by the traditional stone –wall and it seems the life style of the local people is untouched for century.
The trekking route pass through the narrow gorges to medieval villages,impressive chortens, herds of blue sheep. Tourist can observe the abandoned settlements once used by Khampa rebels. Climbers who want to climb Himlung, Kang garu, and Ratna chuli they use the Narphu valley trekking route. In this trek tourist can view the spectacular scene of the mountains like Annapurna Himalayan range, Lamjung Himal,Tilicho peak and Manaslu Himalaya range.
