Nepal has so many beautiful places and adventure activities to offer for a vacation.Mountain and nature lovers can have a fantastic view of snowcapped mountains, including the view of sunrise and sunset, from the window of the hotel. Many places on the holiday tour are easily accessible and require just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. There are many specialized massage services in some hotels and resorts to reenergize tourists.

Activities provided in Chitwan National park

Canoe Trip:

Canoeing is provided on the Rapti River for you to view crocodiles basking or swimming and aquatic plants in the river.

Bird Watching:

In the early morning you could watch the birds. There are around 500 species of resident and migratory birds.

Jungle Drive:

There is more chance to see different types of wildlife through jungle drive. We can drive 35 km deep of jungle to visit the crocodile breeding centre.

Jungle Walk:

Our nature guide will take you deep into the park to introduce the vegetation, wildlife and the importance of the local eco system. It is an exciting program where you can grasp a glimpse of mysterious wild animals.

Elephant Breeding Centre:

In elephant breeding center, there are more than 20 elephants. They are 1-60 years old. June-July is the copulation season of the elephant.

Village Tour:

Close to your lodge around the national park, there is a Tharu village where you will learn and see the life style and tradition of Tharu indigenous peoples.

Cultural Program:

In the culture program you will enjoy the Tharu stick dance and other cultural programs performed by the Tharu people in one of the evenings during your stay.

Elephant Safari:

Elephant riding into the depth of the jungle is an exciting trip to approach the wild animals, birds and plants.

Elephant Bathing:

Elephant bathing is a unique experience. Visitors join the daily bath of the elephants that helps the elephants to scrub themselves to clean and cool down from the hit. In this program, the visitors get bathed by the elephants through their trunk.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival to Kathmandu international airport and brought to the hotel
Day 2 :
Mountain flight

In the morning drive to Airport and fly to Mountain flight. The flight is one hour and approaches close to Mount Everest (8848 meter or 28756 feet).You will see hundreds of snowcapped mountains, peaks and beautiful Mountain villages. The scenery is really breathtaking and wonderful. It will be one of the most important and memorable experience in your life. Then drive back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast start sightseeing and visit the wonderful Temples. Stupas, Monasteries and old Royal palaces like Pashupatinath temple (the biggest and most important Hindu temple) including cremation ground, Bouddhanath stupa and swyambhunath stupa (both are Buddhist monuments).Finally you will visit old Kathmandu durbar square including Living goddess Kumari. Then drive back to hotel.
Day 3 :
sightseeing and visit Patan and Bhaktapur durbar square

After breakfast tour starts sightseeing and visit Patan and Bhaktapur durbar square. You will sleep in Himalaya high resort. It is about 40 minutes’ drive from City area and located on the top of the hill surrounded by dense pine forest.
Day 4 :
hike and then drive to Pokhara.

Breakfast – If you like small hike you can make a hike and then drive to Pokhara. It is about 6 hour’s pleasant drive. The road is really amazing that leads along the river. Lunch is provided on the way in a river beach restaurant enjoying with the typical Nepali villages in the hills. As you arrive to Pokhara you will make small rest and walk around the beautiful Phewa Lake. Lunch is provided in a nice restaurant with big spacious garden close to Phewa Lake.
Day 5 :
Siteseeing in Pokhara

Early in the morning drive to Sarangkot to view sunrise and beautiful panoramic views of Annapurna range, Dhoaulagiri and Fishtail Mountains. Back to hotel for breakfast-free time till lunch- boating in Phewa Lake and visit Devid’s fall, Gupteshor Mahadev (Lord Shiva) Cave, peace stupa, Tibbetean refugee camp and Mountain Museum.
Day 6 :
Chitwan National park

After breakfast drive to Chitwan National park. Welcome drinks and lunch at the hotel and rest – village tour in the evening.
Day 7 :
Adventure Day

Breakfast – canoeing in the Rapti River – jungle walk and visit the elephant breeding center –lunch – elephant ride to the jungle and elephant bath –dinner –culture program.
Day 8 :
Departure with few activities

Bird watching early in the morning – breakfast – departure for selected destination. Farewell dinner with Nepali cultural (music and dance) program.

Important Information Before Your Trip to Nepal

Payment: Down payment: 15% of total payment is required to confirm the reservation.

Payment of the Balance: Rest amount can be paid in our office after your arrival.

Arrival Point: You will be met at the Kathmandu international airport. Our office representative will be waiting for you holding play card of the Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition. In case of your change plan, please let us inform.

Booking Air Ticket: If you don’t have regular travel agent, please visit makemytrip.com, www.kayak.com, www.vayama.com. They offer you very good price.

Room System: Normally we have two people in a room. Twin bed or single bed depends on the choice of guests and budget. If tourists want single room, s/he should pay single supplementary.

Trekking Leading Person: Our trekking guide will lead the whole trip with his/her helpers and porters.

Currencies: USD, AUD, EURO are major acceptable currencies in Nepal and visa and credit cards also accepted. There is ATM facility in city area.

Altitude Sickness: Altitude sickness will start from 3000 meter height. Trekkers should immediately inform trekking guide if faced any problems.

Drinking Water: We can get mineral water and boiled water in city area and in some trekking places. We use water purification tablet or liquid in some remote trekking sites.

Laundry Facility: Laundry facility are available in city area but not during the trekking.

Visa: You can get arrival visa at Kathmandu airport that cost 25 USD for 15 days and 40 USD for 30 days. Please bring 2 passport size photos. You can get your visa from the closest Nepali embassy.

Orientation Program: Before starting trekking, trekkers are provided with an orientation by our office representative or trekking guide about the necessary trekking information.

Group Size: There will be maximum 12 persons in one group.

Accommodation: You will stay in a nice tourist standard hotel/resort in city areas. Normal hotels or tents are available during the trekking.

Foods: We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner. Tourists can get continental food both in city and trekking places. Food during the trekking might not meet the standard of your country.

View of Mount Everest: Trekkers to Everest region will of course see the Mount Everest. For trekkers visiting other regions where they cannot view Mount Everest, there are daily mountain flights which approach close to Mount Everest.

Travel Insurance: It is compulsory to have travel insurance.

Personal Expenses: It depends on your spending interest and shopping. There are some expensive handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelries and handicrafts to purchase in Nepal.

Luggage: We take only about 10kg per person in trekking. Your excess baggage will be stored in a hotel.

Tips: Tips are highly accepted and appreciated.

Rules and Regulation

Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.

1. If the balance payment is not paid before your departure for trekking, the booking will be cancelled without any refund.

2. If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces emergency situation before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come Nepal and refund your payment. But in case of any emergency situation or war after your arrival or during the trekking, we will not refund your money. But we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.

3. In case of increase in government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee, you have to pay extra money.

4. If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask to leave the group without any right to refund.

5. If you have any complain with regards to trekking and tour please inform our tour leader or company. All kinds of valid complain are welcomed and processed with necessary actions.

6.You are responsible to ensure that all travel documents are with you during the entire trip.
