Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m)

Airport Pick-up and Hotel Transfer

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, you can relax after your flight or explore the nearby streets at your leisure. In the evening, your tour guide will brief you about the upcoming journey.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square & Dakshinkali Temple

After breakfast, begin your cultural exploration with a visit to the ancient Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as the Monkey Temple. Situated atop a hill, it offers spectacular views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with centuries-old temples, palaces, courtyards, and traditional Newari architecture.

In the afternoon, drive to Dakshinkali Temple, one of Nepal’s most important Hindu temples dedicated to Goddess Kali, located amidst beautiful hills south of Kathmandu.

Day 3: Spiritual Heritage Tour

Sankhu Bajrayogini Temple, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath

After breakfast, drive to the ancient town of Sankhu to visit the peaceful Bajrayogini Temple, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Next, visit the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a center of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 4: Changu Narayan, Bhaktapur & Nagarkot

Day 5: Bungamati, Khokana & Patan

Day 6: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Day 9: Drive to Tansen

Day 11: Drive to Chitwan National Park

Arrival Point: You will land at the Kathmandu International Airport and meet our office representative. You can follow our office representative by your name on the signboard the representative will display near the exit point of the airport.

In case of a change in plan or a delayed flight, please let us know. We will arrange the airport pick-up accordingly.

Visa: If you come to Nepal without a visa, you can get an arrival visa at the Kathmandu International Airport. The visa costs $ 30 for 15 days, $ 50 for 30 days, and $ 125 for 90 Days.

Payment of the Balance Tour Cost: The remaining amount will be paid upon arrival. You can pay cash or online. The choice is yours.

A Briefing about the Tour: Once you are properly settled in your hotel, our office representative/s will brief you on the tour. This briefing is a part of the tour preparation and to give you the essential tour information.

Hotel: You can get normal to star hotels and resorts based on your requirements on all cities in this tour.

Room Arrangement: Normally we keep two people in a room if they are friends or family members. Single, twin, or family accommodation will depend on your preference.  The solo tourist will have to pay a single supplementary.

Tour Leading Person: Our experienced tour guide leads the tour. If the group size is big, we add helpers.

Currencies: American Dollar (USD), Australian Dollar (AUD), European EURO, Canadian Dollar, and UK Pound Sterling are major accepted currencies in Nepal.

ATM: You can get ATMs in all cities during this tour. However, keep some cash with you. You may need cash during the travel.

Drinking Water: You will get mineral, filtered, and boiled water.

Food: Tourists can get continental and Nepali food during the tour. Nepali food often contains Dal (lentil soup), rice (brown or white), different vegetables, sweet/sour fresh pickles, and green salad. Meat/eat/fish on top of the set Nepali food for non-vegetarians.  You can try food prepared by indigenous groups like Newari Food and Thakali Food which are very famous in Nepal. Nepali food is very safe as is made up of fresh materials and ingredients.

Laundry Service: Laundry facilities are available on this tour.

Group Size of Your Tour: There will be a maximum of 30 persons in one group. If you are more than 30 people, we will split you into two groups.

High Altitude Sickness: In this tour, we don’t need to be worried about the high altitude sickness.

First Aid Kit: We send some basic medicine to the tour. If you have been taking regular medicine, please bring them with you as the quality and brand of your medicine may not be the same if you buy in Nepal.

Travel Insurance: Tourists must have travel insurance. You can email us the insurance documents or give us the printed copies when you arrive.

Luggage: We suggest you limit the belongings. Your remaining luggage will be stored in Kathmandu.

View of Mountains: You will of course see mountains from Pokhara and Nagarkot on a clear day. We suggest taking a mountain flight that approaches close to Mt. Everest if you want to see many mountains and the Everest.

Personal Expenses: You will need money for different activities that are not included in the tour package like Disco, Casino, and shop handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelry, and handcrafts.

TIPS: Tipping is not mandatory, but it has been one of the attractions to make the guides and porters continue to be involved in tourism. TIPS are appreciated and dignified.

Rules and Regulations

Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.

If the balance payment is not paid before you depart for the tour, the booking will be canceled without a refund.

If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces an emergency before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come to Nepal and refund your payment. However, in case of an emergency or war after your arrival or during the tour, we will not refund your money. Nevertheless, we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such a situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.

If government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee increase after you book the trek, you will pay the increased costs.

If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask you to leave the group without any right to refund.

You are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents are with you during the trek.
