Overview

Thapa Peak (6,012m), also occasionally referred to as Dhampus Peak, constitutes a thrilling trekking peak within the Dhaulagiri region of Nepal. This expedition combines wonderful adventure, high-altitude trekking, and peak climbing, which is a rewarding treat for climbers who do not wish for a summit climb too technical in nature. This takes you through lush forests, remote valleys, alpine meadows, and glacier crossings to the summit unveiling breathtaking panoramic views across Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna, and the revered Himalayan giants.

The climb includes crossing French Pass (5,360m) and Thapa Pass (5,250m), acclimatization days, and ascent from Thapa Peak Base Camp (5,200m) to the summit (6,012m). This expedition means that trekkers and climbers will be able to enjoy an experience that is as safe as it is pleasant because the itinerary allows for good resting times and slow ascents to progressively higher altitudes.
