The 6-Day Nepal Temple Tour is designed for travelers who want to experience Nepal’s important Hindu temples, religious traditions and beautiful landscapes without traveling to remote high-altitude pilgrimage destinations.
The tour covers the major temples of Kathmandu, the sacred Dakshinkali Temple, Manakamana Temple on the way to Pokhara, and several important temples in Pokhara.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
After check-in and some rest, you can explore Thamel or the surrounding area if time permits.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Day 2: Kathmandu Temple Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your Kathmandu temple tour.
Pashupatinath Temple
Visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Located beside the holy Bagmati River, the temple complex contains numerous shrines and religious monuments.
Guhyeshwari Temple
Continue to Guhyeshwari Temple, located near Pashupatinath. It is an important Shakti pilgrimage site.
Budhanilkantha Temple
Visit Budhanilkantha Temple, famous for its large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu resting on a bed of serpents in a water-filled pool.
Swayambhunath
In the afternoon, visit Swayambhunath, the famous hilltop religious site overlooking Kathmandu Valley. The site is important to both Buddhist and Hindu communities.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel.
Overnight: Kathmandu himalaya high resort near to Dakshinkali Temple.
Day 3: Dakshinkali Temple – Manakamana Temple – Pokhara
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey toward Pokhara.
Dakshinkali Temple
Your first visit is to Dakshinkali Temple, located south of Kathmandu in a forested area.
Dakshinkali is one of Nepal’s important Hindu temples dedicated to Goddess Kali and is an important pilgrimage destination for Hindu devotees.
After visiting the temple, continue your drive toward Manakamana.
Manakamana Temple
Arrive at the Manakamana Cable Car station and take the cable car up to Manakamana Temple.
Visit the temple and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
After the visit, continue driving toward Pokhara.
Arrive in Pokhara in the evening and check into your hotel.
Overnight: Pokhara
Day 4: Pokhara Temple Tour
After breakfast, begin your temple sightseeing in Pokhara.
Bindhyabasini Temple
Visit Bindhyabasini Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Pokhara. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is situated on a hilltop overlooking the valley.
Tal Barahi Temple
Continue to Phewa Lake and take a boat to Tal Barahi Temple, located on a small island in the lake.
After visiting the temple, enjoy some time boating on Phewa Lake.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
Continue to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, an important Hindu religious site associated with Lord Shiva.
Return to your hotel in the evening.
Overnight: Pokhara
Day 5: Pumdikot Shiva Temple – Pokhara – Kathmandu
After breakfast, visit Pumdikot Shiva Temple, located on a hill above Pokhara.
The site is known for its large statue of Lord Shiva and panoramic views of Phewa Lake, Pokhara Valley and the surrounding mountains on clear days.
After sightseeing, begin the drive back to Kathmandu.
The road journey passes through beautiful hills, rivers, villages and countryside.
Arrive in Kathmandu in the evening.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Day 6: Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, enjoy some free time depending on your flight schedule.
Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international departure.
Your Nepal Temple Tour ends at the airport.
