Day 1 :
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Your adventure begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal. Upon landing, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the city. After settling in, you will attend a detailed trek briefing where your guide will explain the itinerary, provide essential information, and ensure your trekking gear is ready. If time permits, you can explore the bustling streets of Thamel, famous for its shops, cafes, and trekking stores. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2 :
Fly to Lukla (2,800m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
The day begins early with a short, exhilarating flight to Lukla, a mountain airstrip nestled among the Himalayas. This 30-minute flight offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and green valleys. After landing in Lukla, you will meet the rest of the trekking team, including porters. The trek officially starts with a gentle hike through scenic trails, crossing small villages, prayer wheels, and suspension bridges. After approximately 3-4 hours, you’ll arrive at Phakding, a charming village by the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight stay in Phakding.

Day 3 :
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Leaving Phakding, the trail leads you through lush pine forests, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trek gradually becomes steeper as you approach Namche Bazaar, the economic and cultural hub of the Everest region. Along the way, enjoy your first glimpses of Everest and Lhotse. After a strenuous final ascent, you’ll reach Namche Bazaar, a lively town with markets, cafes, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in Namche.

Day 4 :
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
To adapt to the altitude, you’ll spend an extra day in Namche Bazaar. This is a day for both rest and exploration. Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel, which offers panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about the local culture, mountaineering history, and wildlife of the Everest region. Alternatively, explore the vibrant markets or relax in a café with a view. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5 :
Trek to Thyanboche (3,880m)
The trek continues with a mix of gentle trails and steep ascents. You’ll pass through beautiful rhododendron forests and cross rivers via suspension bridges. The highlight of the day is reaching Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, one of the most significant spiritual centers in the region. The monastery is set against a backdrop of stunning peaks, including Ama Dablam and Everest. Take time to explore the monastery and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Overnight stay in Tengboche.

Day 6 :
Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)
Leaving Tengboche, the trail descends through lush forests before ascending along the Imja River. The landscapes become more rugged and alpine as you gain altitude, with fewer trees and more open spaces. You’ll pass small settlements and cross bridges before arriving in Dingboche, a picturesque village surrounded by majestic mountains. The village offers a sense of tranquility and is an ideal place for rest and acclimatization. Overnight stay in Dingboche.

Day 7 :
Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Another acclimatization day to prepare for higher altitudes. You can opt for a short hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083m) or explore nearby ridges for stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, and other peaks. This day is also an opportunity to relax and absorb the beauty of the Everest region. Overnight stay in Dingboche.

Day 8 :
Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)
The trail from Dingboche to Lobuche is both challenging and rewarding. You’ll walk alongside the Khumbu Glacier and pass by memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest expeditions. The trail becomes rockier as you approach Lobuche, a small settlement surrounded by towering peaks. The day ends with a sense of achievement as you rest amidst the grandeur of the Himalayas. Day 9 :
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Return to Gorakshep (5,164m)
This is one of the most anticipated days of the trek. The journey to Everest Base Camp takes you along rugged glacier trails with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Upon reaching the base camp, you’ll stand in awe at the foot of the world’s tallest mountain. After taking in the breathtaking scenery, you’ll return to Gorakshep for the night. The experience of being at Everest Base Camp will be a highlight of your journey. Overnight stay in Gorakshep.

Day 10 :
Hike to Kalapatthar (5,545m) and Trek to Pheriche (4,280m)
An early morning hike to Kalapatthar rewards you with the best views of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Watching the sunrise over the Himalayas from Kalapatthar is a surreal experience. After soaking in the views, you’ll descend to Pheriche, a peaceful village at a lower altitude. The descent provides a welcome relief from the high altitude and allows you to enjoy the changing landscapes. Overnight stay in Pheriche.

Day 11 :
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
The trek back to Namche Bazaar takes you through familiar trails but offers a different perspective. Enjoy the downhill walk and revisit the vibrant Sherpa town. This is a great opportunity to relax, shop for souvenirs, or celebrate your successful journey with fellow trekkers. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Trek to Lukla (2,800m)
Your final trekking day takes you back to Lukla, retracing your steps through forests, bridges, and small villages. The trail offers a mix of emotions as you say goodbye to the mountains while reflecting on your incredible journey. Upon reaching Lukla, you can celebrate with your trekking team. Overnight stay in Lukla.

Day 13 :
Fly Back to Kathmandu
Take a scenic morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, enjoying one last aerial view of the Himalayas. After arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, explore the city, or indulge in a farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Important Information Before Your Trip to Nepal
Payment: Down payment: 15% of total payment is required to confirm the reservation.
Payment of the Balance: Rest amount can be paid in our office after your arrival.
Arrival Point: You will be met at the Kathmandu international airport. Our office representative will be waiting for you holding play card of the Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition. In case of your change plan, please let us inform.
Booking Air Ticket: If you don’t have regular travel agent, please visit makemytrip.com, www.kayak.com, www.vayama.com. They offer you very good price.
Room System: Normally we have two people in a room. Twin bed or single bed depends on the choice of guests and budget. If tourists want single room, s/he should pay single supplementary.
Trekking Leading Person: Our trekking guide will lead the whole trip with his/her helpers and porters.
Currencies: USD, AUD, EURO are major acceptable currencies in Nepal and visa and credit cards also accepted. There is ATM facility in city area.
Altitude Sickness: Altitude sickness will start from 3000 meter height. Trekkers should immediately inform trekking guide if faced any problems.
Drinking Water: We can get mineral water and boiled water in city area and in some trekking places. We use water purification tablet or liquid in some remote trekking sites.
Laundry Facility: Laundry facility are available in city area but not during the trekking.
Visa: You can get arrival visa at Kathmandu airport that cost 25 USD for 15 days and 40 USD for 30 days. Please bring 2 passport size photos. You can get your visa from the closest Nepali embassy.
Orientation Program: Before starting trekking, trekkers are provided with an orientation by our office representative or trekking guide about the necessary trekking information.
Group Size: There will be maximum 12 persons in one group.
Accommodation: You will stay in a nice tourist standard hotel/resort in city areas. Normal hotels or tents are available during the trekking.
Foods: We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner. Tourists can get continental food both in city and trekking places. Food during the trekking might not meet the standard of your country.
View of Mount Everest: Trekkers to Everest region will of course see the Mount Everest. For trekkers visiting other regions where they cannot view Mount Everest, there are daily mountain flights which approach close to Mount Everest.
Travel Insurance: It is compulsory to have travel insurance.
Personal Expenses: It depends on your spending interest and shopping. There are some expensive handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelries and handicrafts to purchase in Nepal.
Luggage: We take only about 10kg per person in trekking. Your excess baggage will be stored in a hotel.
Tips: Tips are highly accepted and appreciated.
Rules and Regulation
Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.
1. If the balance payment is not paid before your departure for trekking, the booking will be cancelled without any refund.
2. If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces emergency situation before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come Nepal and refund your payment. But in case of any emergency situation or war after your arrival or during the trekking, we will not refund your money. But we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.
3. In case of increase in government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee, you have to pay extra money.
4. If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask to leave the group without any right to refund.
5. If you have any complain with regards to trekking and tour please inform our tour leader or company. All kinds of valid complain are welcomed and processed with necessary actions.
6.You are responsible to ensure that all travel documents are with you during the entire trip.
