Day 1 :
Arrival at the Kathmandu
You arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and then transfer to the hotel. You can rest or explore nearby areas on your own. In the evening, your guide will meet you for a short briefing about the Manaslu base camp trek ahead and final preparation of gears.

Day 2 :
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Permits
Spend the day sightseeing in Kathmandu, visiting some of its most famous cultural and historical hotspots, which include Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later in the afternoon, you will finalize your trekking permits to include the Manaslu Conservation Area Permit, ACAP, and TIMS at the trekking office. You’ll stay in Kathmandu overnight at 1,350 meters.

Day 3 :
Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (700m)
Start the Manaslu base camp trek with a 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola at 700 meters today. The drive will be on the Prithvi Highway and will continue on a rough road to Arughat, then descend to Soti Khola. You will get beautiful views of rivers, hills, and terraced fields. You will stay overnight in this small town, Soti Khola.

Day 4 :
Soti Khola to Machha Khola (869m)
From Koblatti, start trekkings for about 5 to 6 hours to Machha Khola, a village at the elevation of 869 meters from the sea level via a suspension bridges, forests of small villages, gently ascend and in some places with steep climb on foot and head toward night stay over there.

Day 5 :
About 6 hours trek to Machhi Khola (830m)
From Koblatti, start trekkings for about 5 to 6 hours to Machha Khola, a village at the elevation of 869 meters from the sea level via a suspension bridges, forests of small villages, gently ascend and in some places with steep climb on foot and head toward night stay over there.

Day 6 :
Machha Khola to Jagat (1,340m)
From Machha Khola, trek for 6-7 hours to Jagat (1,340 meters). The trail goes upwards through terraces and some small villages. You will be crossing a few suspension bridges over the Budi Gandaki River en-route. It’s a beautiful village, and it marks the entrance to the Manaslu Conservation Area. You will stay overnight here tonight.

Day 7 :
Jagat to Deng (1,860m)
Trek to Deng, which is 5-6 hours. The route further follows the Budi Gandaki River and goes uphill through dense forests, waterfalls, and villages that are less crowded. With increased altitude, the surroundings become harder. Deng lies at 1,860 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy a tranquil atmosphere, and you will have an overnight stay here.

About 6 hours trek to Nambrung (2380m)
On Day 7, you will start a 6-7 hour trek to Namrung, which is located at an altitude of 2,660 meters. The scenery begins to shift as you ascend higher; snow-capped mountains, like Mt. Manaslu, can be seen in breathtaking views. This track cuts through pine and rhododendron forests, and Namrung is well-renowned for its Tibetan culture. You will have an overnight stay in Namrung.

Day 10 :
Namrung to Sama Gaon (3,530m)
Today’s 5 to 6 hour hike leads to the village of Sama Gaon that rests at 3,530 meters. In this portion of the track, a magical vision of Mt. Manaslu and other surrounding peaks could be viewed. This is a village settled by Tibetans and will have the time to familiarize yourself with the culture here. An important part is to get accustomed to altitude, which has been immense in rise.

Day 11 :
Rest at Sama Gaon-Acclimatization Day
Rest day in Sama Gaon for better acclimatization. You can choose between a short trip to the Manaslu Base Camp trek, which is a 4,900-meter hike that takes 4 to 5 hours round-trip, or a hike to Pungyen Gompa for the best views of the Manaslu Glacier. These two options take you closer to these mountains for acclimatization and let you capture breathtaking mountain scenery. Overnight again in Sama Gaon.

Day 12 :
Sama Gaon to Samdo (3,860m)
Trek to Samdo, 3,860 meters, in 3-4 hours. Compared to other days, this day is not that long, yet it allows one to enjoy the scenery. Samdo is a small Tibetan village with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. It’s ideal for rest and getting your body ready for higher altitudes in the coming days.

Day 13 :
Samdo to Dharmashala (4,460m)
From Samdo, trek for 4-5 hours to Dharmashala, situated at 4,460 meters. This is the last stop before crossing the Larkya La Pass, the highest point of the trek. The trail ascends gradually, and the landscape becomes more desolate, marked by rocks and sparse vegetation. Dharmashala is a small settlement where you’ll rest before the strenuous pass crossing.

Day 14 :
Dharmashala to Manaslu Base Camp Round Trip
Today is a long day, about 6-7 hours of trekking. Firstly, you will go to Manaslu Base Camp at 4,900 meters and relish the magnificent views of Mount Manaslu and surrounding peaks. After spending some time in Manaslu base camp, you return to Dharmashala for the night.

Day 15 :
Dharmashala to Larkya La Pass (5,160m) and to Bimtang (3,590m)
Start early today, as it is a challenging day of Manaslu base camp trek. Because, you will be trekking for 8-10 hours and cross the Larkya La Pass at 5,160 meters, the highest point on the trek. From the pass, you can see panoramic views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and other towering peaks. After crossing the pass, head down to Bimtang at 3,590 meters for the overnight stay.

Day 16 :
Bimtang to Dharapani (1,960m) and Drive to Kathmandu
On the last day of the Manaslu base camp trek, walk for 6-7 hours downhill to Dharapani at 1,960 meters above sea level. The trail descends through forests and villages, passing by beautiful landscapes. From Dharapani, drive by jeep or bus back to Kathmandu, a journey of about 8-9 hours. After arriving in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 17 :
Departure from Kathmandu
Today, you will have a transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for an onward flight or have an extended stay in Kathmandu for further city sightseeing. If you are flying out today, your guide will help get you transferred to the airport for a flight back home with the beautiful moment of Manaslu base camp trek.

Room System: Normally we have two people in a room. Twin bed or single bed depends on the choice of guests and budget. If tourists want single room, s/he should pay single supplementary.
Trekking Leading Person: Our trekking guide will lead the whole trip with his/her helpers and porters.
Currencies: USD, AUD, EURO are major acceptable currencies in Nepal and visa and credit cards also accepted. There is ATM facility in city area.
Altitude Sickness: Altitude sickness will start from 3000 meter height. Trekkers should immediately inform trekking guide if faced any problems.
Drinking Water: We can get mineral water and boiled water in city area and in some trekking places. We use water purification tablet or liquid in some remote trekking sites.
Laundry Facility: Laundry facility are available in city area but not during the trekking.
Visa: You can get arrival visa at Kathmandu airport that cost 25 USD for 15 days and 40 USD for 30 days. Please bring 2 passport size photos. You can get your visa from the closest Nepali embassy.
Orientation Program: Before starting trekking, trekkers are provided with an orientation by our office representative or trekking guide about the necessary trekking information.
Group Size: There will be maximum 12 persons in one group.
Accommodation: You will stay in a nice tourist standard hotel/resort in city areas. Normal hotels or tents are available during the trekking.
Foods: We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner. Tourists can get continental food both in city and trekking places. Food during the trekking might not meet the standard of your country.
View of Mount Everest: Trekkers to Everest region will of course see the Mount Everest. For trekkers visiting other regions where they cannot view Mount Everest, there are daily mountain flights which approach close to Mount Everest.
Travel Insurance: It is compulsory to have travel insurance.
Personal Expenses: It depends on your spending interest and shopping. There are some expensive handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelries and handicrafts to purchase in Nepal.
Luggage: We take only about 10kg per person in trekking. Your excess baggage will be stored in a hotel.
Tips: Tips are highly accepted and appreciated.
Rules and Regulation
Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.
1. If the balance payment is not paid before your departure for trekking, the booking will be cancelled without any refund.
2. If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces emergency situation before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come Nepal and refund your payment. But in case of any emergency situation or war after your arrival or during the trekking, we will not refund your money. But we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.
3. In case of increase in government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee, you have to pay extra money.
4. If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask to leave the group without any right to refund.
5. If you have any complain with regards to trekking and tour please inform our tour leader or company. All kinds of valid complain are welcomed and processed with necessary actions.
6.You are responsible to ensure that all travel documents are with you during the entire trip.
