MARVELOUS NAMOBUDDHA
Two weeks before I was in in Namobuddha with some tourist. It is really marvelous and beautiful place as well as best place for the mediation. As we visited monastery we got peace and relax. The monasteries are really amazing .Inside the monasteries there are marvelous painting of many different types of Buddhists gods and goddess .we stayed their whole day and visited the oldest stupa in that surrounding. According to monk of stupa that is 2700 years old. There is one small cave like monastery that belongs with the legend of the existence of Namobuddha.
The Namobuddha chaitya was built in the memory of the rebirth of Lord Buddha who feed his flesh and blood to a dying tigress and her three cubs. In his past life his name was Mahasatwa. As he feed his own body to the dying tigress and her three cubs,he breathed the last and went to heaven. His father came to this place later and decided to erect the stupa of Namobuddha with the relics of Mahasatwa. Namobuddha is the most sacred spot of pilgrimage site in Nepal for the all Buddhist of Nepal as well world. IN Nepal Hindu people also visit the Namobuddha as a very important sacred place.
