An Outline of Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport – Airport pickup, hotel transfer, and rest.
Day 2: Early in the morning, drop off at the domestic airport and enjoy the close view of the Himalayas through a one-hour Mountain Flight – back to the hotel and breakfast.
-Sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhnath Stupa, and Swoyambhunath Stupa, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lunch in the premises of Bouddhnath Stupa.
Day 3: Sightseeing at the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, UNESCO Sites. Lunch in Patan, then drive to the Himalayan High Resort in Hattiban, Lalitpur, for an overnight stay on top of a small hill with stunning valley views.
Day 4: Private drive (About 6 hrs) to Pokhara. Evening peace walk around the Phewa Lake, followed by dinner.
Day 5: Sightseeing in Pokhara
-Visit David Falls, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and Mountain Museum, and go boating on Phewa Lake
Day 6: About 45-minute drive to Kande – visit Bindabasini Temple and Seti George on the way, and about 2 hrs trek to Australian Camp. Lunch on arrival.
-Relax with magnificent views of mountains, including Mt. Fishtail and Mt. Annapurna, and enjoy a breathtaking sunset.
Day 7: Trek to Dhampus (about 2 hrs), then drive to Chitwan National Park following the scenic Marsyandi, Trishuli, and Narayani Rivers. Riverside lunch on the way.
Day 8: Jungle activities in the National Park
-Canoe, Jeep drive or jungle walk, elephant bathing, elephant safari, Elephant Breeding Center visit, Tharu indigenous village visit and cultural dance performance in the evening.
Day 9: Bird watching early in the morning, breakfast, and drive (about 5 hrs) back to Kathmandu along the Narayani and Trishuli Rivers. Lunch break on the way. Farewell dinner with Nepali cultural program.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Upon arrival to Kathmandu International Airport ,You will be transferred to your hotel.
One of our staff members will be waiting for you at the airport exit with a private car. He will hold a sign with your name, so you can easily find him. After meeting him, you’ll load your luggage into the car and head to your hotel.
Although the hotel is only 5 kilometers from the airport, the drive will take about 20 minutes because of heavy traffic.
When you arrive at the hotel, you’ll be welcomed with a drink and asked to fill out a registration form. Then you’ll get your room key and check in.
About an hour later, you’ll come back to the hotel lobby. There, your tour guide will give you a brief introduction to your trip in Nepal. He will explain some important things to know and suggest good places to eat for lunch and dinner. Please note that meals are not included while you’re in Kathmandu.
If you need help buying medicine or personal items, your guide will be happy to assist you.

Day 2 :
At approximately 5:30 AM, you will depart for the domestic airport to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime Everest Experience flight. This scenic one-hour flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayan range, including Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. After the flight, you will return to your hotel.
In the morning, drive to the Domestic Airport and take a one-hour mountain flight. The plane flies close to Mount Everest (8,848 meters or 28,756 feet), and you’ll see many snow-covered mountains, beautiful peaks, and mountain villages. The views are truly stunning and unforgettable – a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After the flight, return to your hotel and enjoy breakfast.
Then, begin your sightseeing tour. You’ll visit amazing temples, stupas, monasteries, and old royal palaces. These include:
Pashupatinath Temple – the biggest and most important Hindu temple, where you can also see the cremation area
Bouddhanath Stupa – a large Buddhist monument
Swayambhunath Stupa – also known as the Monkey Temple, another famous Buddhist site
Kathmandu Durbar Square – a historic area with ancient palaces, temples, and the home of the Living Goddess, Kumari
After the tour, return to your hotel and relax.

Day 3 :
Enjoy sightseeing with visits to Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares. Afterwards, drive to Himalaya High Resort for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, your sightseeing tour begins with visits to Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
After the tour, you will stay at Himalaya High Resort. It’s about a 40-minute drive from the city and is located on top of a hill, surrounded by a peaceful pine forest.

Day 4 :
Approximately 30 minutes of hiking (optional) followed by a drive to Pokhara.
Breakfast – If you enjoy a short hike, you can take one in the morning. After that, drive to Pokhara. The drive takes about 6 hours and is very scenic, with the road running along a river.
On the way, you’ll stop for lunch at a riverside restaurant, where you can also enjoy views of traditional Nepali villages in the hills.
When you reach Pokhara, you’ll have some time to rest. Later, you can take a walk around the beautiful Phewa Lake.
Dinner will be served at a nice restaurant with a large garden near the lake.

Day 5 :
Siteseeing in Pokhara
Start your day early with a drive to Sarangkot to enjoy a stunning sunrise and amazing views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and the Fishtail Mountain.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and relax.
In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, then visit some of Pokhara’s top spots: Devi’s Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave,the Tibetan Refugee Camp, and the Mountain Museum.

Day 6 :
About 45 minutes drive and 2 hours easy trek to Australian camp.
Australian Camp Short Trek
Just a 45-minute drive followed by an easy 2-hour walk takes you to the beautiful Australian Camp. This is one of the most popular short treks in the Annapurna region, perfect for travelers looking for a quick mountain getaway.
From the camp, enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mardi Himal, and even Manaslu. It’s a fantastic spot to catch both sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas.
In spring (March–April), the trail comes alive with colorful rhododendrons. During autumn (October–November), fields of marigold and other local flowers make the landscape glow.
Ideal for a peaceful one-night mountain stay, this trip also includes visits to the historic Bindebasini Temple and the scenic Seti River Gorge along the way.

Day 7 :
After breakfast about 2 hours easy trek to Dhampus and drive back to Chitwan National Park.
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park. When you arrive at the hotel, you’ll get a welcome drink and lunch, then have some time to rest.
In the evening, take a village tour. You’ll visit traditional Tharu houses and see how the local people live. Then, you’ll go to the elephant stable.
After that, enjoy a walk along the Rapti River, which borders the national park. Sometimes, you might see crocodiles, rhinos, tigers, or elephants swimming in the river.
There are also some nice riverside restaurants where you can relax with tea, coffee, or a beer.

Day 8 :
Full day adventure activities in Chitwan National park.
After breakfast, the adventure begins in Chitwan National Park. First, enjoy canoeing on the Rapti River, followed by a jungle walk and a visit to the Elephant Breeding Center. Then have lunch. In the afternoon, go on an elephant ride through the jungle and take part in an elephant bath. In the evening, enjoy dinner and watch a cultural program.

Day 9 :
Bird watching early in the morning – breakfast – drive or fly to Kathmandu
Start the day with early morning bird watching, followed by breakfast. Afterward, travel to Kathmandu or your selected destination—either by road or by flight (note: airfare is not included). In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in Kathmandu featuring traditional Nepali music and dance.
If you choose to fly back to Kathmandu, the flight ticket is not included in the package and will cost an additional US$130.00.

Activities provided in Chitwan National park
Canoe Trip
Canoeing is provided on the Rapti River for you to view crocodiles basking or swimming and aquatic plants in the river.
Bird Watching
In the early morning you could watch the birds. There are around 500 species of resident and migratory birds.
Jungle Drive
There is more chance to see different types of wildlife through jungle drive. We can drive 35 km deep of jungle to visit the Crocodile Breeding Center.
Jungle Walk
Our nature guide will take you deep into the park to introduce the vegetation, wildlife and the importance of the local eco system. It is an exciting program where you can grasp a glimpse of mysterious wild animals.
Elephant Breeding Centre
In elephant breeding center, there are more than 20 elephants. They are 1-60 years old. June-July is the copulation season of the elephant.
Village Tour
Close to your lodge around the national park, there is a Tharu village where you will learn and see the life style and tradition of Tharu indigenous peoples.
Cultural Program
In the culture program you will enjoy the Tharu stick dance and other cultural programs performed by the Tharu people in one of the evenings during your stay.

A Briefing about the Tour: Once you are properly settled in your hotel, our office representative/s will brief you on the tour. This briefing is a part of the tour preparation and to give you the essential tour information.
Hotel: You can get normal to star hotels and resorts based on your requirements on this tour.
Room Arrangement: Normally we keep two people in a room if they are friends or family members. Single, twin, or family accommodation will depend on your preference. The solo tourist will have to pay a single supplementary.
Tour Leading Person: Our experienced tour guide leads the tour. If the group size is big, we add helpers.
Currencies: American Dollar (USD), Australian Dollar (AUD), European EURO, Canadian Dollar, and UK Pound Sterling are major accepted currencies in Nepal.
ATM: You can get ATMs in all cities during this tour. However, keep some cash with you. You may need cash during the travel.
Drinking Water: You will get mineral, filtered, and boiled water.
Food: Tourists can get continental and Nepali food during the tour. Nepali food often contains Dal (lentil soup), rice (brown or white), different vegetables, sweet/sour fresh pickles, and green salad. Meat/eat/fish on top of the set Nepali food for non-vegetarians. You can try food prepared by indigenous groups like Newari Food and Thakali Food which are very famous in Nepal. Nepali food is very safe as is made up of fresh materials and ingredients.
Laundry Service: Laundry facilities are available on this tour.
Group Size of Your Tour: There will be a maximum of 30 persons in one group. If you are more than 30 people, we will split you into two groups.
High Altitude Sickness: In this tour, we don’t need to be worried about the high altitude sickness.
First Aid Kit: We send some basic medicine to the tour. If you have been taking regular medicine, please bring them with you as the quality and brand of your medicine may not be the same if you buy in Nepal.
Travel Insurance: Tourists must have travel insurance. You can email us the insurance documents or give us the printed copies when you arrive.
Luggage: We suggest you limit the belongings. Your remaining luggage will be stored in Kathmandu.
View of Mountains: You will of course see mountains from Pokhara on a clear day. We suggest taking a mountain flight that approaches close to Mt. Everest if you want to see many mountains and the Everest.
Personal Expenses: You will need money for different activities that are not included in the tour package like Disco, Casino, and shop handmade carpets, Thanka paintings, jewelry, and handcrafts.
TIPS: Tipping is not mandatory, but it has been one of the attractions to make the guides and porters continue to be involved in tourism. TIPS are appreciated and dignified.
Rules and Regulations
Nepal Mountain Lovers Treks and Expedition accepts your reservation under the following rules and regulations.
If the balance payment is not paid before you depart for the tour, the booking will be canceled without a refund.
If there is war or the situation of the country is out of control and the country faces an emergency before your arrival to Nepal, we inform you not to come to Nepal and refund your payment. However, in case of an emergency or war after your arrival or during the tour, we will not refund your money. Nevertheless, we will try our best to make your trip successful and pleasant. In such a situation, we may need to change the trip plan and itinerary.
If government royalty and other costs such as the national park fee increase after you book the trek, you will pay the increased costs.
If you commit any illegal act or disturbance for the safety and welfare of the group, our leader or guide can ask you to leave the group without any right to refund.
You are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents are with you during the trek.
